Chlorine dioxide (ClO2) has long been recognized as an effective disinfectant product, but traditional methods of manufacture often resulted in products with certain drawbacks, all of which have been overcome by the new “4th Method” for creating chlorine dioxide formulas.
This unique disinfection technology was originally developed for specialized military applications where the goal was to effectively mitigate biological or chemical contamination on sophisticated systems and sensitive equipment. In order to safely address these issues without harming the contaminated surfaces, our scientists developed a new approach to chemistry-based disinfectants, where energy potential is used to enhance efficacy, rather than simply increasing ingredient concentrations. The Electro-Biocide disinfectant is a direct result of these developments, and due to its unique properties, rapidly destroys microbes, alleviating the potential for pathogens to develop disinfectant resistance or mutate into potentially more dangerous organisms. At the same time, there are no harmful residues left after application, and the formula will not harm treated surfaces.
These fundamental developments have led to the creation of a family of products ideally suited for use in a wide array of everyday applications. For Long Term Care facilities, the unrivaled combination of rapid effectiveness against bacterial, viral and fungal pathogens, along with the utmost in product safety and ease of use, makes Electro-Biocide the ultimate choice for facility disinfection.
